Bae Yong Joon has only acted in two movies and they are on Netflix now. What a surprise.
Untold Scandal
This was his first major movie after his wildly popular drama, ‘Winter Sonata’ propelled him fame in Asia. I guess he wanted to flex his muscles as an actor and throw out the gentlemanly image in ‘Winter Sonata’, because the character in ‘Untold Scandal’ couldn’t be more different. Based on the French novel, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Bae Yong Joon’s character is a cad and a womanizer. And oh, there were bed scenes too, which shocked many of Bae Yong Joon’s fans. You can see it all on Netflix. But judging from some of the nudity scenes that I’ve seen on TV in recent years, theyare pretty tame.

April Snow
This was his next major movie, by the director Hur Jin Ho, who was well known for the melo, artictically inclined movies ‘Christmas in August’ and ‘One Fine Spring Day’.
‘April Snow’ is a very slow, artistic movie, focusing mainly on Bae Yong Joon and Son Ye Jin and a bed scene that supposedly took 9 hours to film. Nothing raunchy though.
The other highlight was the concert with some really good artistes. Unfortunately, there were only a few minutes of the concert in the actual movie.
