This is one of the the biggest movie promotion since The Master (Kim Woo Bin, Kang Dong Won) in March this year. There will be a press conference, a Meet and Greet (Suntec City) and a Gala Movie Premiere (MBS, Mastercard Theatre)
Various sites and companies are running contests to give away tickets to the Meet and Greet as well as the Gala Movie Premiere. And they all end tomorrow. So, go quickly and join the contests now if you want a chance to meet So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, Hwang Jung Min and Director Ryoo Seung Wan.

The Movie Gala Premiere is held at 8pm, The Mastercard Theatres, Sand Theatre, MBS. However, the red carpet and movie is only opened to ticket holders.
The Battleship Island
Based on true events in 1945 during Japan’s occupation of Korea, 400 Koreans were forced or lured by false promises of high wages onto Battleship Island (also known as Hashima in Japanese) where they were imprisoned and forced to mine for coal. The prisoners attempt to escape this hell on earth before they were all killed.
This movie has broken records and earned USD 27.9 million in total during the first 5 days alone.
No doubt, the news that Song Joong Ki was going to get married to Song Hye Gyo just before the movie released helped fuel the interest.
