I’m sitting in front of my computer, having a curry puff for my lunch and what am I dreaming of? Ban chan- those Koreaan sides dishes that are amazing in its variety and the limitless refill.
Unfortunately though…most of the Korean restaurants in Singapore are really not up to mark in terms of the variety, freshness and generosity. One of the restaurant even wanted to charge me for refills!!!! Luckily, they saw the errors of their way and did away with that practice subsequently. Probably had too many people complaining. Whoever heard for a Korean eatery charging for refill of ban chan????!!!!
The only 2 restaurants that I’ve tried and been somewhat close to standard were Mana Restaurant (along Telok Ayer St) and Mido Restaurant (26 Tanjong Pagar Rd, though I don’t think it’s called Mido anymore).
Anyway… I figured if I can’t have the real thing now, I could at least look at them right? I just got to make sure I don’t drool over my keyboard.. hahaha!

I prefer manna also. I heard that rain had a dinner in manna, the owner of the restaurant was so proud of that. Are u working for press? Were you in Seoul supported by KNTO? Oh~ Even I didn’t know you’re working.

You know what?? While I was drooling, reading your blog, one of my co-workers, who is a korean lady came into my office. We both feel like Korean food. So we decided to KOBA korean restaurant for lunch, which I went with Fendi, when she came to CA.
I am going to have seefood soon tofu with a lot of Ban Chan. One of the Ban Chan they serve is fried covina fish … sooo good.
Now I make you hungrier .. sorry. Well it’s your bed time now, nighty night.

Yeah..Quite a few Korean artistes have been to Mana restaurant. They invited BYJ too when he was in Singapore but he couldn’t move out of the hotel…..

Actually, I just had Korean food last week too but it was in a foodcourt…no shiok lah.
