It’s sometimes easy to forget just how young Kim Yoo Jung is. This 18 years old actress has been acting since she was 4 years old, starring in many well known dramas, especially saeguks (historical dramas). These include ‘Hwang Jini (movie)’, ‘Iljimae’, ‘Queen Seondeok’ and ‘Dong Yi’. But it was the popular 2012 fantasy historial drama ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’ propelled her to stardom. In 2016, she took on her first adult role as the female lead, acting opposite Park Bo Gum in the hit drama, ‘Love in the Moonlight’. Her maturity and experiences shone through and the drama received much love both in Korea and internationally.
