Just what do you do when you are hungry on a cold (by Singapore standard) rainy night?

Unfortunately, as I didn’t have the time to go to any Korean supermarket recently, the NTUC brand would have to do. Btw, the NTUC brand of Korean noodles are produced in Korea for NTUC. The Nongshin brand (and other Korean brands) of noodles that you find in the local supermarkets (like NTUC and Cold Storage) are produced in China. So you can choose to have a local brand of Korean noodles produced in Korea or a Korean brand of noodles produced in China.
Of course, it would be best to have a Korean brand of noodles that is produced in Korea. For that, you would have to go to a Korean gtrocery store like Solmart, Lottemart or Shine supermarket.
Anyway, back to the noodles.. from this

took about 15 minutes and it was delicious…especially when you are hungry. Hehe!
And I’m sure Shin gun agrees with me. Hehe! (if you don’t know who Shin gun is, then you should watch Princess Hours aka Goong)
But somehow though, no matter which brand of Korean noodles I eat, no matter how I cook it here, it just never seemed to be as yummy as those in the Korean dramas. I even wrote about it here, with the answers provided by my dear readers here. Maybe I should head out to buy one of those Korean pot. Or maybe I should just go Korea. Wahaha!
Side note: Ju Ji Hoon will be released from the army next month and Key East (BYJ’s agency), his new agency is already planning a fan meeting for him. I can’t wait to see him back in action coz I think he’s a pretty neat actor.
OK..going to bed now… going to curl under the blanket with my tummy of hot kimchi noodles. ^^
A menu variation I learned from recently trip known as rabokki. Add ramen to the sauced dokboki with hard boil

Yes, u should get the Korean pot to cook your ramyeon… It will taste so different. And remember you have to eat direct from the pot using the lid as your plate.. Hehe
i still prefer Shin Ramen from korea to the ones sold in NTUC that is made in China.
Kfanatic- Oooh… that sounds good. I’m going to try it this week. Must go buy dokboki sauce first.
L- Hehe! I’m really tempted to go buy the pot but I’m not sure why hubby is going to say about eating from the pot directly. Very bad manners to show in front of children leh.
Rainy- I agree completely but I didn’t have the time to go to a Korean grocery store, so this was the next best thing. Me no like the China version either.
