Jang Geun Suk- Cri Show in Singapore 2011- flight details updated,24th Apr

It’s countdown days for eels in Singapore (I’m still not sure about fans being called eels…especially as I like to eat eels ^^).

Anyway, together with his concert, a whole range of his merchandise will be on sale as well. So not only can you watch JGS during this weekend in the flesh, you can also bring home his musical doll after the fan meet and gaze upon it day and night. kekeke! Actually, I am rather intriqued by it. If anyone has bought one, do let me know what the ‘JGS’s doll’ says.

I must admit, I’m rather impresed by this boy’s diligence (he’s way younger than me, so I think can call boy lah ^^).

Not only is he becoming a singer (well, he was a singer in his last 2 dramas), he is actually advancing as a singer into Japan. This reminds me very much of the late Park Yong Ha, though Jang Geun Suk isn’t quietly going to Japan like Park Yong Ha did. I read that the pre-orders for his album did very well. I was a little late and have not been able to catch the teaser that was released earlier as they have all been removed from the youtube. *pity* Unfortunately, due to the recent disaster in Japan, Jang Geun Suk has to postpone his album launch and cancel all activities in Japan. Guess his Japanese fans will have to wait a little while more.

Now becoming a singer is not unusual but launching an app for the iphone ( the android version will come later), that’s a little more interesting. Of course, there have been apps for download in the past from K artistes but they were normally album apps. This, I believe is the first personal app, which according to the news articles, will be managed by him personally. I tried to check if anyone has downloaded it via my twitter and facebook to no avail. So if anyone of you is reading this article and has downloaded Jang Keun Suk’s app, can drop me a line? At almost US$10 to download, I’m not too keen to do it just for fun. ^^ There is only one review so far, so that isn’t much use to me either.

Other than the Japanese album, this boy has also recently has also recently been picked to endorse the Korean rice wine, makgeolli- Seoul makgeolli via Japan’s Suntory. He also sang the theme song, ‘Bye, Bye, Bye’ in the CF. Will he sing the song at the fan meet on Saturday? ^^ I thought the way of drinking it (by shaking the can 3-4 times) was interesting. Must remember to try it next time.

Here’s the CF and the making of- the CF is in both Japanese and Korean. ^^

And if you still haven’t got your tickets to the fan meet this Saturday, perhaps the young man himself can convince you to do so… ^^

Just heard from a little bird….

Jang Geun Suk will be arriving on 22nd April, 2pm via KE 643. Now this is unofficial, so don’t quote me. And I’m not sure if he will go through VIP entrance. If he does, then you won’t get a chance to see him at the airport either.

Departure details…the little bird said Jang Geun Suk will leave on 24 Apr afternoon via VIP route. So not much point going down to the airport as you won’t be able to see him there. Unofficial source. Hope everyone enjoyed the fan meet. ^^

There will be a photograph/ autograph session for some lucky fans on the 22nd April at Marina Square Atrium, 7pm. The event is opened to the public, so do go down and catch him in action.

The fan meet will be on 23rd April, 7.30pm at the University Cultural Centre.

From the looks of it, it should be more interesting than the usual fan meet.

Have fun! ^^
