Inspite of the warm muggy weather last Saturday, MONBEBE (fans of MONSTA X) were excited to gather at The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel just to catch MONSTA X very first fan meet in Singapore!
The boys kicked off the show with their all-time favourite track ‘Beautiful’, which garner loud chants from the fan during the performance.
This was followed by another one of their popular song, ‘Honestly’.
Apart from the performance, the boys had prepare interesting game segments for the fan meet so they could interact with the fans.
Mon-story
Fans were reminiscing the journey with the boys as they watched the photos collage of their debut days,‘behind-the-scenes’ clips and the emotional moments such as the first win award for ‘The Show’ (SBS MTV’s) and Asia Artist Award in 2017.
During the MON-CASSO segment, each members had to draw out an item they wanted to have with Monbebes at the very moment.
Shownu: Non-alcoholic drink (He was concerned about the age limit for fans)
Wonho: Ice cream
Minhyuk: Naengmyeon (cold noodles)
Kihyun: Black pepper crab
Hyungwon: Prawn roasted with salt (re-enacted the famous salt bae meme)
Jooheon: Mandu (dumplings)
I.M: Water
To clear the confusion, I.M explained that MONBEBE are the flowers, thus he should shower them with some water (which is his love~)
[oh cheesyy I.M! You really know how to capture the heart of the ladies!]
MONSTA X later performed other energetic tunes like ‘Hero’, ‘DRAMARAMA’ and ‘From Zero’ for their fans as well.
The showcase ended with the the encore song ‘Lets sing along’, where the boys happily played on the stage while singing.
In the ending speech, MONSTA X mentioned that they were in the process of making their comeback “The Connect” and hope to return back to Singapore for a world tour concert soon! Wonho added that he’s thankful to celebrate his birthday with the fans in Singapore and he hope that the next fan meet in Singapore will be in an air-conditioned venue (Is this a hint?)
