It’s been a long time since Brian and Hwanhee, better known together as Fly to the Sky sang together on stage but this June, fans will have to wait no more. It’s been a long five year wait until this year in April when Brian started hinting at ideas of a comeback via his twitter that have gotten many fans excited. And on 20th May, they finally released their ninth studio album Continuum which achieved an all-kill – ranking 1st on 10 music charts, including Melon, Mnet, Olleh Music, Bugs, Monkey3, Genie, Naver Music, Daum Music, KakaoMusic and Soribada as at 8am (KST) on 21st May 2014.

It seems like the five year hiatus did not affect them at all. Back in the day they were known as the Kings of R&B, taking a different road from first generation idols such as H.O.T and Shinhwa. Five years on with solo albums and variety show appearances in their belt, it seems like nothing has changed. Their recent comeback showcase at K-Art Hall in Olympic Park was full house and tickets to three days of their comeback concert of the same name Continuum sold out just within 10 minutes of release.

Both Brian and Hwanhee have assured fans that they have prepared a lot for the comeback album and concert and hope that fans will actively support them. In an interview Hwanhee mentioned to Star News, “Since it’s been a long time since I worked with Brian on an album, I was worried if we would work well together at first, but since we had been working as a duo for a long time, it was so very natural the way we immediately clicked… We will not disappoint fans of Fly to the Sky.”

It seems like fans of Fly to the Sky fans are in for a treat! Seoul Rhythms will also be bringing you updates, so stay tuned!
