JYP & Alpha Asean Region Audition
Finally, after about 3 months, the second and final round of the JYP audition is going to happen this 10am, Friday, 18th March 2011. I’m sure all the shortlisted partcipants must be biting their nails by the minute.
This time round, they will be asked to do more during the final round of audition.
They will be asked to introduce themselves (to judge their hosting skills), singing (full song), dancing (full song) and acting. Remember, JYP is not just looking for a singer or a dance or a host, you have to be an all rounder (of course, you can shine more in one section). With so much cross overs nowadays, singers are expected to act and dancers do hosting and vice versa.
Will JYP choose one or two or three? My guess would be just one in Singapore and another one in Hong Kong. But then I may be wrong, if the participants are really, exceptionally good. JYP would want to mix the group members with their own Korean trainees. So I think there would not be more than 3 from both Singapore and Hong Kong.
Maybe, just maybe next year, we might see a Singaporean appear on Dream High 2? Maybe? It would be fanstastic isn’t it?

I think they are going to have the 2nd round of audition in HK first before announcing. HK audition this Friday. ^^

Hi Raewon, as mentioned in my reply to Jae Hee above yours, the next audition is scheduled to be in December 2011. Alpha Entertainment will post more information later closer to the date.
hi..this coming dec 2011 audition is it with jyp as well??or it’s just alpha??
will they ask u to dance if u get through the first round by singing??as my dancing is suck..hahaha…though my singing is not superb but i hope i get through *finger cross*
The audition in December is under Alpha Entertainment. From what I understand, if you do managed to impress them enough, they may ask you to do something different- it could be singing a different song or dancing. As an artiste, you are expected to be an all-rounder. Hope that answers
