The Men’s Fashion Week 2012 will be held from 18 to 22 April 2012. Into it’s 2nd year, Men’s Fashion Week is even bigger this year with more international stars and designers. This year, it has incorporated music into the event, afterall, as Mr Frank Cintamani, Chairman of MFW Singapore, Women’s Fashion Week (WFW) Singapore and Haute Couture Week Asia said: “If the heart of fashion shows is the labels and clothes, music will certainly be the soul. Fashion, like music, is something for all to appreciate.”
Just think of Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson and closer to home- Big Bang. Fashion is inseparable from these singers.
And so, joining the glitering stars of designers and models will be a host of artistes from Korean and Japan- Se7en, Jung Sungha, Megan Lee, Kamiji Yusuke who will be performing. But what got me really excited is 8eight, who will be performing on the special opening night with all proceeds going to charity.
Opening the fashion week is Songzio from Korea and UK label Spencer Hart. Songzio (who was here for the inaugural Men’s Fashion Week 20110 has dressed many celebrities including 2PM, Rain, JYJ and Super Junior just to name a few. Joining him at the opening show will be Lee Jung Shin of CN Blue (do I hear screams?).

Japan: Diet Butcher Slim Skin, Factotum, Jun Hashimoto, Pascal Donquino
UK: Spencer Hart, Bodybound, Matthew Miller, Casely Hayford
France: Alexis Mabille
Germany: MCM
USA: Richard Chai
Singapore: Reckless Ericka
